MINISTRY Involvement
Here at Masters Commission Wasilla Alaska you will be involved in many different ministries. Here are just some of them:
Village Ministry: You will be ministering to Native Alaskan people in rural parts of our state. We have opportunities to go out and serve the village churches and communities and make an impact.
Adopt-a-Block / Bus Ministry: Wasilla Assembly of God feels the call to bless a local subdivision here in Wasilla. You will be involved in picking people up for church with our bus ministry and serving this subdivision in different ways throughout the year.
Dream Center: You will be serving Rob and Cherise Hyslip who are taking on the vision of a Dream Center here in Wasilla. Like the one Pastors Matthew and Tommy Barnett have started in L.A., it is a shelter and resource for those facing homelessness, poverty, drug addiction, and hopelessness.
Youth Ministry: You will be serving Pastor Joshua Reese, our youth pastor, and Nameless Youth, our thriving youth ministry. Pastor Josh has an awesome heart for youth and we have a chance to be a part of his vision for Wasilla.
Children's Ministry: We are dedicated to helping kids grow up in God and understand that they too can walk in the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit. You will have the chance to do children's services and outreaches and pour into the lives of our kids here at Wasilla Assembly.
Worship: Worship is a key part of your relationship with Jesus. Here at MC:WA you will develop an intimate heart of worship and you will have opportunities to develop your skills as a worship leader.
Acts of Obedience: This is a prophetic evangelism ministry. You will be going out into the community of Wasilla following God's direction in a quest to encourage, comfort, and strengthen whoever God leads you to. It is exciting and stretching but is also a blessing to many.
